Introduction & Inspiration

Susan Massucci portraitSusan (Andrews) Massucci was born in Boston, MA. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1995 with a B.F.A. in Printmaking, where she also received the Chancellor’s Talent Award – a four-year tuition scholarship.

Susan has demonstrated her skill in all facets of printmaking, but her primary love is the woodcut print. Her remarkable commitment to detail and mark making in her prints are wonderful and exciting, often pushing the limits of the wood. Her work has been well received at various juried events and several pieces have received tops awards, including Manhattan Intersection, Sunset, Your Basic Limo, Manhattan Corner, and Sunflower.

Unfortuntunately, since Susan no longer has access to a printing press, she has stopped making fine art prints at this time.  She does occasionally create small notecard-sized editions, which she prints by hand. Susan presently focuses her time and efforts in other art media including acrylic painting, watercolor, pen & ink, mixed media.

As a mother of 2 children, she has a passion for creating unique and personalized items for children and families. She can help you create a wonderful gift for any kind of special occasion – baby, kids, parents, grandparents.

Susan currently works on commission, creating original and custom murals in the homes and businesses of her clientele. She also works on commision creating custom and personalized works of art.
